Gooey + Butter == Good Times, so it sounds.
The recipe comes from Kroger brand cream cheese, whereupon it recommends Kroger everything, naturally, including the afformentioned puddingles cake mix. I consider this a nearly mythical ingredient as I've been unable to heretofore find it, needing it also for "Herk's Coffee Cake".
When I find some, I will store it up in pre-millenial qualities.
Ingredients

Yellow cake mix, w/o pudding
|

1 stick
|
butter,
melted
|
|
1 8oz pkg
|
cream cheese,
softened
|
|
16 oz box
|
powdered sugar
|
|
3
|
eggs
|
Preparation
mix together cake mix, butter and 1 egg until it reaches dough thickness. Butter a 9x13" pan and press cake mixture into bottom. Retain 1/2 cup powdered sugar and mix cream cheese, remaing powdered sugar and remaining 2 eggs until thoroughly mixed and top cake mixture.
Bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes and top with powdered sugar
