Notes
A recipe from my Uncle Patrick's "bachelor days", which were long and varied. Somewhere exists a recipe for Tuna Surprise which contained lots of strange things such as peas (not to mention "hot tuna") but was generally pretty tasty. Sadly I wouldn't rediscover this recipe until well -after- college. Makes a tasty winter meal.
Ingredients

nice chops

white wine

green onion,
finely chopped

1/4 cup

sour cream
|
|
3/4 cup
|
sliced raw mushrooms
|
|
1 can
|
cream of mushroom soup
|
|
|
fresh mushrooms
|
Preparation
Brown pork chops, add wine and simmer for a while. In a large Pyrex baking dish, spread soup evenly and add rest of ingredients. Place chops on top of sauce and bake at 350F for 15 minutes. When sauce has thinned a little and is bubbly, spoon over chops and continue to bake another 10 minutes.
