Tartlets: pecan

Good lord, I love pecan pie. The idea of dozens of -little- pecan pies makes me very, very happy
Ingredients
CRUST
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp almond extract
2 cups sifted flour
 
FILLING
1/2 cup margarine
1/3 cup dark Karo syrup
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
Cream margarine and sugar and mix in egg yolks and almond extract. Fold in flour. Press evenly into tart shells or muffin tins. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400F.

Boil margarine, Karo syrup and confectioner's sugar. Stir in pecans and spoon into shells. top with pecan halves. Bake at 350F for 5 minutes.
