I'm making up this title about 50%. I can make out "Apple" and then maybe its a Z or a 2 or an equals sign and then maybe "Mor...." or "Nor...." Use of pencil has not improved the archiving process, nor has the rather hurried hand.
"Apple 2 Morrow" makes it a pleasant play on the later-family name.

cherries

or 5 cups

tart apples,
sliced

Preparation
Melt butter in an 8-10 inch square pan at 350F. Mix flour, 3/4 cup sugar, salt, add milk and beat well.
Pour batter into hot butter -- do not stir. Scatter fruit on top of batter and sprinkle with additional sugar. Bake 50 minutes or until golden brown.
