Ingredients

round steak,
cut into 1/2" strips

salad oil

salt + pepper

1/2 cup

table wine or sherry
|

1 cup

cut onions
|
|
2 cups
|
cut fresh mushrooms or canned with liquid

1 small can
|
tomato paste
|

3 Tbl
|
flour
|
|
1 can
|

monosodium glutemate (Accent)
|

1 carton
|
sour cream
|
Preparation
Brown meat strips in oil. Put in casserole and add salt, pepper and wine. In drippings, saute onions and mushrooms to golden brown (5 minutes).
Mix together paste, consumme and flour. Add to onions and mushrooms and add to this mixture the bay leaf, garlic and Accent. Mix well and pour over meat.
Bake 350F - 1 hour or until meat is tender.
When ready to serve stir in sour cream.
Use over cooked rice.
